Magnetic fields in near-Mars space

Langlais et al. (2004) model

The dominant magnetic field source at Mars is from its crust, and the dynamics of this system are dominated by the interaction of the sun's magnetic field with the crustal field.

A discrete model provides the user with an evaluation of the crustal magnetic field.
